of South Carolina
Women in Philanthropy (WIP) is an organization of women business and community leaders who believe that together we can make a difference in the heart of the South Carolina.
Although we regularly participate in charitable giving, we want to do more to address the core issues that create pressing community problems-a long-term approach rather than an immediate one. The answer lies in the power of pooled money in bringing about meaningful change.
Women in Philanthropy is the Midlands' first major women's philanthropic initiative. Together, we empower women to become philanthropists, effective community leaders, and advocates of others who support our mission of leading meaningful change in the place we call home.
